Russia-linked hackers breach Ukrainian officials’ email accounts

On 2026-04-14, Russia-linked hackers reportedly compromised more than 170 email accounts belonging to Ukrainian prosecutors and investigators. The campaign also reportedly extended to other European government and military email accounts. The intrusion was described as cyber espionage aimed at tracking investigations and collecting sensitive information.
