Pennsylvania treasurer blocks $1M taxpayer funding for Gov. Shapiro’s home security upgrades

On 2026-04-23, Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity refused to approve more than $1 million in payments for security upgrades at Gov. Josh Shapiro's private home in Harrisburg.
