Ford recalls 1.4 million F-150 pickup trucks

On 2026-04-17, Ford Motor Company recalled nearly 1.4 million F-150 pickup trucks in the United States to fix a gearshift issue that could cause an unintended downshift. The company said it was aware of two injuries, one accident, 444 warranty claims, and 105 customer service reports possibly related to the defect.
