Blue Cross Blue Shield to close Danville building; staff move fully remote

On 2026-04-22, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois said it will close its Danville call center building at 3290 E. Main St. in June and move employees to full-time remote work. The facility has been open since 1985 and once employed more than 400 workers.
