AIT says Taiwan Relations Act affirms Taiwan's importance

On 2026-04-09, the American Institute in Taiwan posted that the Taiwan Relations Act affirms Taiwan’s strategic importance and the US commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific. The post also said the US would continue efforts to deepen collaboration with Taiwan in security, the economy, technology, and people-to-people ties.
