Gulf states underscore support for Lebanon’s security and stability

On 2026-04-21, the Gulf Cooperation Council, through Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, publicly underscored its support for Lebanon’s security, stability, sovereignty, and state institutions in Riyadh. He also welcomed steps by the Lebanese government to extend state control and limit arms to the state, framing GCC states as partners in Lebanon’s recovery.
