JMG backs Philippines government efforts to protect seafarers amid Middle East crisis

On 2026-04-08, the Joint Manning Group expressed support for the efforts of the President and the Philippine government amid the Middle East crisis. The Philippine manning association said it would continue coordinating with foreign principals, employers, and crew members to support safe deployment, training, welfare, and repatriation of Filipino seafarers.
