Ghana CSOs back Mahama’s UN push against slave trade, urge intersex law reforms

On 2026-04-14, Key Watch Ghana and Intersex Movement Ghana publicly commended President John Dramani Mahama and the governing National Democratic Congress for their efforts at the United Nations to have the transatlantic slave trade recognized as the gravest crime against humanity. The joint statement also tied Ghana's international push to calls for domestic intersex law reforms.
