Investigation launched after gun attack in Limerick shoots teenage boy and man

On 2026-04-02, Gardaí launched an investigation after a firearm was discharged at a residential location in Garryowen, Limerick at about 2:35 a.m. Two males, a teenager and a man in his 40s, were taken to University Hospital Limerick with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
