91-year-old woman to complete 220km protest walk to Ireland’s Dáil

On 2026-04-15, 91-year-old Leila Doolan completed a 220km protest walk from Shannon Airport to Leinster House in Dublin. The walk was a peaceful demonstration against the US military using Shannon as a stop-over and in support of Irish neutrality. Hundreds of supporters joined her along the route and at the finish.
