Cubans bike through streets to protest US sanctions

On 2026-04-06, Cuban activists held a government-organized bicycle and electric-tricycle caravan along Havana’s Malecon boulevard to voice opposition to US sanctions. The rally passed the U.S. Embassy and featured flags and banners criticizing the sanctions. President Miguel Diaz-Canel accompanied the procession, and no violence was reported.
