MGH Group to build first private container terminal at Chattogram port

On 2026-04-20, MGH Group’s subsidiary Transmarine Logistics signed a 20-year land lease agreement with the Chittagong Port Authority to build Bangladesh’s first privately built container terminal at Chattogram port. The project is planned for a seven-acre site in Patenga and is expected to have a monthly handling capacity of 40,000 TEUs.
