Road and highway conditions improve in Saskatchewan after spring snowstorm

On 2026-04-07, an Alberta clipper brought a spring snowstorm to Saskatchewan, dropping about 15–35 cm of snow across areas including Saskatoon, Meadow Lake, the Battlefords, and Prince Albert. Environment Canada reported blowing snow and difficult travel conditions on highways north of Saskatoon, with conditions gradually improving by Wednesday morning.
