Tornado damages in Olmsted County after severe storms

On 2026-04-17, severe storms produced tornado damage across Olmsted County, Minnesota, including Marion Township, Stewartville, Quincy Township, and areas southeast of Rochester. The sheriff’s office reported more than 50 damaged homes, with some suffering major damage, utility shutdowns, road closures, and multiple resident displacements.
