IMF delegation meets Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Dissanayake

On 2026-04-02, an International Monetary Fund delegation met with Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Colombo. The IMF delegation discussed Sri Lanka’s economic programme and appreciated the government's efforts to safeguard economic progress and livelihoods, while Dissanayake said Sri Lanka had met all programme targets and was relatively stable.
