Libya coast guard rescues 404 migrants on 10 boats

On 2026-04-23, Libya's eastern-based coast guard rescued at least 404 migrants from 10 boats after they faced harsh conditions at sea off Tobruk in eastern Libya. The Tobruk Red Crescent said the migrants were from different nationalities and provided first aid, food, and blankets.
