IOM reports 1,725 newly displaced in Sudan’s Blue Nile State

On 2026-04-02, the International Organization for Migration reported that 1,725 people were newly displaced from Qaysan in Sudan’s Blue Nile State. The displacement was linked to escalating clashes and deteriorating security conditions, with families moving toward Al-Rusayris city and the Wad Al-Mahi area within Blue Nile State.
