Azerbaijani-Armenian officials’ mutual visits to restore normal atmosphere, president says

On 2026-04-22, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a press statement in Riga alongside Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs, saying mutual visits by Azerbaijani and Armenian representatives are helping create a normal atmosphere. He also said the peace process has seen positive dynamics since the White House joint declaration, including trade and fuel supplies to Armenia.
