Namibia minister calls for transparency in arts fund management

On 2026-04-25, Namibian education, innovation, youth, sport, arts and culture minister Sanet Steenkamp called for transparency in the management of arts funding. She made the remarks during the induction of the National Arts Council of Namibia in Windhoek, saying resources should be allocated in a transparent, equitable, and impactful manner.
