Taiwan business group urges Beijing and Taipei to keep politics out of trade

On 2026-04-20, Paul Hsu, chairman of Taiwan's General Chamber of Commerce, said Beijing and Taipei should keep politics out of resumed trade and tourism exchanges. He urged that any reopening be systematic and normalized to support long-term stability in business and trade.
