ANC Mpumalanga chair Mandla Ndlovu says president candidates should come from within

On 2026-04-18, ANC Mpumalanga chair Mandla Ndlovu said the party should not seek a presidential candidate from outside its current leadership structures. He argued that doing so would wrongly imply a leadership crisis in the ANC, speaking in Mpumalanga and addressing party members and branches.
