Party chief calls on 16th-tenure legislature to conduct stronger, more substantive innovation

On 2026-04-06, Communist Party General Secretary Tô Lâm delivered an address at the opening of the first session of Vietnam’s newly elected 16th National Assembly in Hà Nội. He called on the legislature to innovate in a stronger, more substantive, and more effective manner to better fulfill its constitutional responsibilities.
