Lagos moves to enforce a unified academic calendar for all schools

On 2026-04-16, the Lagos State Government flagged off a process to enforce a unified academic calendar for public and private schools. The announcement was made during a stakeholders’ meeting organized by the Office of Education Quality Assurance at the NUT Pavilion in Alausa, Ikeja. Commissioner Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun urged cooperation and adherence to standards.
