Amupitan says he had God’s conviction before accepting INEC appointment

On 2026-04-23, INEC chairman Joash Amupitan spoke in Abuja at a Nigerian Baptist Convention service and said he had conviction from God before accepting his appointment. He also asked Nigerians to pray for him and for the 2027 election to be successful.
