Qatar’s Emir visits Oman for fraternal trip

On 2026-04-16, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, arrived in Muscat on a private fraternal visit to Oman. Sultan Haitham bin Tarik welcomed him at the Sultan’s Private Airport, and the two leaders proceeded to Al Barakah Palace. The visit was framed as a bilateral goodwill trip focused on strengthening relations and matters of mutual interest.
