Ogamba orders probe into MMUST “ghost graduands” claims

On 2026-04-02, Kenya Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba directed the Commission for University Education to investigate allegations that Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology awarded degrees to people who were never students there. The instruction was issued in Kenya and followed claims of irregular graduations that the university denied.
