Kuwait strips citizenship from four people

On 2026-04-19, the Kuwait Cabinet, through Cabinet Resolution No. 200/2026 published in the official gazette Kuwait Al-Youm, revoked the Kuwaiti citizenship of four individuals and those who acquired it through dependency. The action was based on Article 21 bis (a) of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law, which allows revocation if citizenship was obtained unlawfully through fraud, false statements, or invalid documents.
