On 2026-04-24, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security filed plans in federal court in Boston to again terminate the legal status of migrants who entered through the Biden-era CBP One app. The filing follows a March ruling by Judge Allison Burroughs that DHS had acted unlawfully when it ended parole for more than 900,000 people, and the judge scheduled a May 6 hearing on the new plans.
