India’s NSA Ajit Doval meets UK counterpart to strengthen defence security ties

On 2026-04-23, India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval hosted UK National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell in New Delhi for the annual India-UK Strategic Dialogue. The two sides discussed advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including strengthening defence and security cooperation, and exchanged views on regional and global security challenges.
