First production-standard MUAV rolled out in Busan

On 2026-04-08, South Korea rolled out the first mass-production example of its Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (MUAV) at the Korean Air Tech Center in Busan. The aircraft, intended to monitor North Korea, was described as South Korea’s first strategic UAV and is slated for service entry in 2027. This was a defense-industrial rollout and production milestone, not a combat incident.
