Azerbaijan elected to chair UNESCAP session as Bayramov outlines priorities

On 2026-04-20, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific elected Azerbaijan to chair its 82nd session in Bangkok, with Jeyhun Bayramov presiding in the role. Bayramov also outlined Azerbaijan’s priorities for the session, including inclusive development, digital transformation, green energy, regional connectivity, and multilateral cooperation.
