Mali backs Morocco’s autonomy plan for Western Sahara

On 2026-04-10, Mali announced in Bamako that it supports Morocco’s autonomy plan for Western Sahara and is withdrawing recognition of the Polisario-led Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
