Philippines rolls back fuel prices to cushion rising oil costs

On 2026-04-14, the Office of the President of the Philippines said nationwide fuel prices were rolled back to cushion the impact of rising oil costs. Diesel was cut by more than 20 pesos per litre, gasoline by over 4 pesos, and kerosene by over 8 pesos per litre. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said more aid measures would follow to reduce transport, food, and living expenses.
