Mexico government raises diesel subsidy to 81.2%

On 2026-04-04, Mexico’s Ministry of Finance raised the fiscal stimulus on automotive diesel to 81.2% for the April 4–10 period. The measure was formalized in Agreement 48/2026 and was intended to offset the IEPS tax burden on fuel prices amid higher international oil prices.
