Philippines CARS program participants to get fully paid next year, BOI says

On 2026-04-12, the Philippine government said it expects to complete payment of obligations to participants in the Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) program by 2027. BOI managing head Ceferino Rodolfo said he was signing tax payment certificates for Toyota, Mitsubishi, and parts makers, which are used to settle tax liabilities.
