Connecticut reaches 4-year union contract deal for 45,000 state workers

On 2026-04-13, Connecticut state employee union coalition leaders announced a four-year contract deal covering about 45,000 state workers. The pact includes 2.5% pay raises in each of the first three years and goes next to the state House and Senate for ratification. The agreement was negotiated with Gov. Ned Lamont’s staff.
