Madras High Court dismisses plea over Vijay’s Rs 12.60 crore loan disclosure

On 2026-04-27, the Madras High Court in Chennai dismissed a petition seeking an inquiry into Actor and TVK chief Vijay's disclosure in his election affidavit that he had lent Rs 12.60 crore to his wife. The bench said a similar petition had already been dismissed earlier and the case could not be entertained.
