Tripura Assembly schedules special session on women's reservation

On 2026-04-23, the Tripura Assembly announced that it will reconvene on April 30 for a special session to deliberate on women's reservation and adopt a resolution. Assembly Secretary Amiya Kanti Nath and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath said the session would be held under Speaker Ram Pada Jamatia's summons.
