SAEL begins operation of 600-MW solar plant in Andhra Pradesh

On 2026-04-20, SAEL Industries began operations at a 600-MW solar power plant in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The facility, spread across more than 2,400 acres, will supply power to the national grid under a 25-year PPA with SECI. The project adds utility-scale generation capacity rather than representing a disruption.
