On 2026-04-10, Taiwan's Ministry of Agriculture suspended the rollout of a pet medication regulation that had been slated to take effect on July 1. Deputy Agriculture Minister Tu Wen-jane announced the postponement in Taipei after meeting with pharmacists, veterinarians, and pharmaceutical wholesalers, saying the policy would not take effect until complementary measures were in place because of drug supply concerns.
