Nigerian Education Minister Wike waives C of O fees for law school in Abuja

On 2026-04-23, Nyesom Wike, Nigeria's Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, announced in Abuja that the government would waive all Certificate of Occupancy fees for the Abuja campus of the Nigerian Law School in Bwari. He also said the institution had no C of O since relocating there and declared an emergency on staff housing and infrastructure.
