Bahrain intercepts missiles and drones amid regional escalation

On 2026-04-02, Bahrain said its air defense systems intercepted two missiles and 10 drones over the kingdom in the previous 24 hours. The National Communication Centre, citing the Bahrain Defense Force, said the projectiles targeted Bahraini territory and were successfully intercepted. No fatalities were reported.
