Qalibaf says Lebanon ceasefire is as important as Iran ceasefire

On 2026-04-16, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf held a telephone conversation with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. Qalibaf said Iran was pursuing efforts toward a permanent ceasefire and stressed that a ceasefire in Lebanon was as important as one in Iran.
