Oman’s Sultan meets Qatar’s Emir to discuss regional developments

On 2026-04-14, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar discussed regional developments during a telephone call. According to Times of Oman, they also called for consolidating international efforts to protect maritime navigation and resolve the conflict through diplomatic channels.
