US urges Taiwan parliament to pass comprehensive defense budget

On 2026-04-27, Raymond Greene, the de facto U.S. ambassador in Taipei and head of the American Institute in Taiwan, pressed Taiwan’s parliament to pass a "comprehensive budget package" for defense.
