Arab League urges ICC probe into Israel death penalty for Palestinians

On 2026-04-02, the Arab League issued a resolution in Cairo calling on the International Criminal Court to open an urgent criminal investigation into Israel’s approval of a death penalty law for Palestinian prisoners. The league said the law could have grave legal and humanitarian consequences and urged ICC prosecution of Israeli officials.
