Kyrylo Budanov says Ukraine won’t recognize any lost territory

On 2026-04-23, Kyrylo Budanov said at the Kyiv Security Forum that no one in Ukraine would recognize the loss of any Ukrainian territory and that peace conditions could not include territorial concessions. He also described the United States as a strategic ally while saying the negotiation process had not yet produced agreement.
