Andhra Pradesh govt accused of misleading legislative council on borrowings records

On 2026-04-08, Botsa Satyanarayana, leader of opposition in the Andhra Pradesh legislative council, accused the Andhra Pradesh government of misleading the state legislature on borrowings records. He said the government understated borrowings and omitted key components in its reply to council questions, and raised the issue in a letter to Governor S. Abdul Nazeer.
