CITAD condemns Nigeria NBC directive governing broadcasters

On 2026-04-19, the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) condemned a recent directive issued by Nigeria’s National Broadcasting Commission to broadcasters across the country. CITAD said the directive could shrink press freedom and civic space and called for consultations with stakeholders.
