Proximus launches Belgium’s first standalone 5G service

On 2026-04-07, Proximus launched Belgium’s first commercial standalone 5G service, branded 5G+, for business customers on selected tariffs. The cloud-native 5G core is intended to improve security, enable network slicing, and support services such as emergency communications and payments.
